Pizza, but Make it Fashion

Pizza Hut challenged Select to create a moment and go viral. We tapped into timeless childhood memories of classic Pizza Hut locations with a buzzworthy merch drop that was exciting, modern and brought the concept of “newstalgia” to life.

Our team developed the merchandising strategy, production and logistics that enabled Pizza Hut to turn one-off wardrobe and props created for commercials into a cohesive and highly coveted apparel collection.

Select kept Pizza Hut’s distinct vision and iconic brand image in mind establishing the right mix of items that would be feasible to produce while resonating with the target consumer.

We set up an early-access portal for franchisees on our platform brandhub, designed and shipped influencer kits in advance of the drop, built the e-commerce site, handled customer service and fulfilled orders.

Delicious Results

Within the first few days of the drop, Tastewear merchandise had 150 placements and 994 million impressions across online, broadcast and social media.
